New car
New car
So, I broke down and traded in my 02 Lancer OZ Rally. I think I made a good choice because I got a steal on a 09 RalliArt. Best decision ever. How does everyone feel about theirs. I have only had mine for 2 days and I love it. 37k miles and I only financed 11.5k. I was wondering though if anyone has had problems with their fog lights or 6 disc changer (only problems I've found so far).
no problems w/ my foglight. haven't used the 6disc changer yet. just been using the radio and my phone for music so far.
put 18k miles on it since new, and still love the car as much as I did on day 1.

What problems are you having? Headlights have to be on for the foglights to be turned on, unlike other cars where you can run the fogs and have the headlights off.

Are you sure it's the 6-disc, I don't think that is standard.
Also for the fogs check a) the bulbs, b)the wiring. Being a used car someone might have done some work on it, and in order to remove the front bumper the fogs have to be disconnected. Dealerships are idiots and would never think to check something like that

Mine says it's a 6 disc changer on it. It also has the buttons for me to change CDs. The first thing I checked with the fog lights was the bulbs and the fuse. Tried following the wiring on Friday morning at work but didn't have enough time cause we needed the rack for another car.

Just kidding, but yeah, that would be my first check on a used car with no Fog function. Take off the 2 plastic clips holding the air inlet "snorkel" for the intake and then the other 3 clips holding the black plastic radiator "cooling panel" and lift the panel up out of the engine bay. If you look down near the crash beam, toward the center of the car beneath where the plastic cover was, you should be able to see an electrical connector body. Make sure that that is plugged in as that is the #1 reason for this sort of thing to happen when people take the bumper on and off. Very easy to forget when you're throwing it all back together.
Yeah, I already tried ejecting all the CDs. There was only one of mine in there. I talked to a dealer out near me and they said the fog lights would be covered. I'll ask about the radio when I take it in. I'll check the connectors tomorrow at work though.
