Input Shaft seal

so after having my transmission fluid changed, I got a leak. I took it to the dealership to get it checked out, and they say my "input shaft seal" is leaking, so I need a new one.

They are also saying you have to buy the transmission I'm order to get one, that they don't sell them seperate. They've had my car for 3 weeks now looking for this seal.

Can anyone here help me out in where to find one, because this is getting ridiculous.

Well if you have only had it for 3 weeks is it covered by warrenty? Even if you bought it used there should still be a 30 day policy.

Yes its covered, but these people at the dealership know lless about my car then I do it seems. Instead of fixing it theirselves, they sent it to another shop while they shop around for this seal.

While I can't help you, I do recommend you call other dealerships and ask, even if they are in different states. One of their techs is bound to know.

Yea sry, i didnt mean to sound like a dick, it just sometimes dealers need to be held accountable for what they are supposed to know.
