clutch fork leaking around in put shaft!

Ok here's the deal I have the engine completely torn down from the tranny for my new engine rebuild and I accidentally was pressing on the clutch pedal when inside the cab the other day. and now I have hydraulic fluid coming from the input shaft clutch fork area in the bellhousing of my transmission. Note that it WAS NOT LEAKING before I depressed the pedal. It goes down to the floor and back up fine. But my question is what could be causing the leak? It also appears that the throw out bearing has moved slightly outward on the input shaft since I depressed the pedal. Could someone please chime in a tell me what exactly happened. Seal? Slave cylinder? TIA

I can only think perhaps it has been leaking for a little while and you just didn't notice it?
The TOB/slave cylinder on our cars is bad about going out and leaking.

No i just jammed on the pedal with the clutch out of the tranny and it made the cylinder in slave cylinder fall out because you aint suppose to be pushin on that **** when the clutch aint bolted up and inside. if it was leaking previously their would be all kinds of hydraulic oil on my clutch.

Mine leaked for a long time and did not ever get brake fluid on my clutch.
The only way I could tell it was leaking;

1: I had to add fluid to the master cylinder about once a month.

2: The bottom of my bellhousing stayed wet with fluid.

If it wasn't leaking before it sure sounds like it is now.
Prob. need to replace it.

Yup you overextended the slave cylinder piston. I would also recommend replacement.

You replace the whole slave cylinder/TOB.
I think you can get a rebuild kit but you can pick the whole thing up on ebay for like $65 + S/H.

RRM also sells it.

You can also get it at NAPA and Carquest.

Sorry but I don't know the part number.
