I would like to know how much annually some of you Ralliart owners pay maintenance wise?

I am really considering getting a Ralliart, I have the 10' GTS but would really love some AWD and the ability to zoom when I want to. I am a big fan of the Lancer line and just tryna get some more info, before I fully commit to pursuing a Ralliart.

 

Do you plan on doing the work yourself, or are you going to take it to the shop?

 

Just a educated guess on my part I would say between $1300 and $1500 a year. That obviously doesn't include the cost of mods . The Canadian dunlop tires are crap and mine didn't last 2 years, and thats with me changing out the tires in the winter. Alberta winters last about 7-8months!

 

It's expensive but if you can do any of the maintenance your self you can save a pretty good chunk. Check out the how to section it walks you through everything

 

I do the oil changes myself so it usually costs around $40.00 and that is with 5 quarts of Mobil 1 5w-30 oil and a Mobil 1 oil filter. I did the Transmission fluid and filter change myself which cost around $350.00. I just had the dealership do the rest of my 30k service. That included the belts, engine coolant, and transfer case. That ran me $415.00. I hope this is what you were looking for.

 

For me so far (in Montreal):
4x oil changes per yr (4x79$)
1x Transfer Case, LSD, AWC pump fluid change 180? at the dealer for 18 months
====
500$ for the first yr

Future expense:
another 180$ @ 36 months + the SST oil (some say its 500$ @ stealership) ... gahhh I don't want to think about it....

rough estimation over the first 3 years will be
12x oil change (79$)
2x T-Case, LSD, AWC(180$)
1x SST (~500$)
====================
~1800 for 3 yrs ... 600$/ years

This estimate did not factor in Brake/fluid, alignments and Tires... (and mods)

 

So far, in 42k miles, I've spent about $1800 at the dealer + another maybe $500 on oil changes myself.
