Hey there, i recently bought an RA, and the dealership put the license plate in the middle on the plastic part.

Well i wanna do the side mount now for appearance purposes, but when i went to put on the perm tags, i noticed they drilled 3 holes on the passenger side, im guessing the guy was hung over and noticed it was crooked, TWICE.

anyways, was wondering if this is a separate part from the bumper, and can be replaced without buying a whole new bumper, if so, what is it called so i can order it?

looked on the OEM mitsubishi parts websites and all of the images dont have an association to that part. Im hoping thats a mistake and i dont have to replace the whole bumper to make it look good again.

 

I would like to know this also...I bought my car in MD but live in WV where there are no front tags....however i only have 2 holes in my plastic...and i dont want to be cheap and just use plugs

if nobody can answer ill prolly end up buying some sort of carbon fiber wrapping to put on it, but id prefer the OEM look.

You could always get the front bumper vents designed for larger intercoolers. You'd probably cut out or cover the holes the dealer made.

Was it hard cutting it out? is there a margin for error since its a cover for the cutout?

Edit: ha just looked at Mach V's map on their site, they arent the one on 606. But omg they are within sight of where i work haha.

oh cool, i used to go to Generous Georges all the time and play poker which is right across the street from there. I live like 10 mins from there. btw i wanna hear your exhaust! ive been considering between Borla and UR for some time, keep changing between the two. I love the racey sound at the upper portion of the powerband with the UR. but the all around sound of the borla is intoxicating. Would have to hear the two in person though!
