hi everyone, i had 2011 lancer ralliart without rockford fosgate system, but i want to install R2S-1X10 10" Prime R2S Shallow Loaded Enclosure to my ralliart. do i still need an amplifier for the subwoofer?

 

I know a guy who had to get 2 amps because his subwoofer took alot of juice. He split up 1 for his in car speakers and 1 for the woofer. i think the amps were 550 each. i know this may not give a definite answer, but i hope it gives you an idea.

There are loads of different ways you can set it all up. Infinite combinations! Fortunately, you will find vast amounts of tech information available online for all of this.

Or you can get a pro shop to set it all up for you. It depends on your skill level, time available, budget, etc. etc.

I did lots of this stuff, for years... but now I just don't have the time or inclination to tear my car apart, lol.

Here's an old one of mine... one small amp for front pair of speakers, and a larger amp to drive a sub...



edit: Yeah, there was no real advantage or reason to post up a boot image. It's not even an X or Ralliart (but it is a Mitsu). I just found it by chance about when I read this thread.
