I got a 2011 Evo x GSR with the Rockford Fosgate sound system and need to know where I can get the AUX cable

 

Any male RCA to male 3.5 mm adapter will work

You guys know if the 08 rocksford allows AUX in? And which cable would I need then? ...dude at "Car Toys" (rocksford dealer apparently) told me the 08 rocksford doesn't have AUX in capability...

 

Only if you have the SSS package which includes the high wing, HIDs, and upgraded RF system with sub in trunk. If you do, there will be RCA inputs in the cubby below the HVAC controls/in front of the shifter.

 

It has the high wing, HID's, not sure what RF system is, and I think someone took out the sub cause there's a space in the trunk on the left where it was maybe? haha. I'm not sure >.<

I had to take off the side panel down by the drivers feet, previous owner had something mounted in the middle area where the RCA input usually is and pushed it down into the dash area hidden away...

Kinda ****ty how the display turns off / does nothing though when you hook up an Ipod...I guess I could leave it on NAV and just use that more now...haha

 

I went to Radio Shack. Good if your in a hurry, but was $10 for $0.89 worth of cable.

Try monoprice. They're always cheap for cables.
