I have a 2013 Evo X with the Rockford Fosgate package as a part of the SSS package. I currently have the normal head unit with the Rockford Fosgate emblem on the top right hand corner of the head unit. I am looking at an OEM navigation unit but it doesn't seem to be the Rockford Fosgate one. Is there a difference between the Rockford and non-Rockford navigation units?

 

Okay since no one answered im going to attempt to answer even though I don't have either system. I think the Rockford Fosgate is purely audio and nothing to do with navi. So the emblem means that you have upgraded speaker system and thats all.

I would think that a NON-RF head unit would not be compatible with a RF system, given the differences in the way that the head unit outputs audio.

 

Contrary to the previous post, I would guess that it does not matter, the connections will likely be the same for Rockford Fosgate or not. It's just another company that produces audio equipment.
