Only if you're willing to deal with doing a 5 speed swap, because most people will want to make enough power to overpower the 6 speed. Otherwise the MR is certainly worth it, though the SE is certainly the best.

I paid $19,700 for mine BRAND NEW.

Come to think of it...I got $20,500 from the insurance company which was supposedly the "fair market value". Have they actually increased in value?

Brand new Ralliart MSRP is $27,995!

I paid $25,000 for mine brand new in 2009, after dealer incentives, military discount, etc.

$19,500 for a used Ralliart is about average. A quick check on www.cars.com confirms.

VERY surprised at the trade in, $16K is great!

At the rate you are going, you will be able to upgrade to the Evo X soon.

Signed the papers this afternoon and spent most of tonight driving it around town. This car is a blast to drive compared to the GTS. The owner left the original window sticker in the glove box, he paid $27,999 new. I purchased the RA at VW of Duluth, it's a brand new dealership so they're focusing on cutting good deals for the first few months.

On a sad note, I will be bringing my car back to the dealer tomorrow, "ACD Service Required" alert. Wish me luck.

Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Regarding the ACD warning... I trust all four wheels have the same size rubber fitted, with about the same degree of wear? Mismatched rolling radius front/rear is one trigger for "ACD Service Required", I believe. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be rectified asap...

No they didn't go up in value, that price is just 4 standard deviations from the mean
