Thud Thud Thud

Thats what I keep hearing and feeling when ever I crank the wheel ( left) in this case about 60% ( picture at lights and getting ready to turn left) give it about 15% gas and I get some pretty severe wheel hopping. Its even worse when your stopped part way on a slight grade. When you get ready to get going on the incline again the thud, thud starts up again. It bad and feels like your going over a a lot of mini speed bumps.....except the road is smooth! For the record. Pressure test on the SST has been done, SST fluid has been changed as per requirements, sst checks out ok I,m told. Differential fluid levels were checked and replaced just as precaution and it checks out ok. No one realy seems to know why its happening
Is the dealer masking the issue. He has checked everything so its not like the sst is slipping. Diff checks out as I originally though this is where the problem may be .....but not so according to the dealer.
no mods really. Just a knn drop in, a better breathing performance CAT and a down pipe. Stock muffler. no tune

Any help or suggestions ??
Thnx

yup you can feel ( and hear) it right from the front end ( at the wheel) not sure if any of the vibration is radiating towards the center diff but sure feels like its all from the wheel area

Are your tire lug nuts loose? or is the tire not flat against the housing? I know that may be simple but the dealer might have missed that? If not, I might need more specifics.

Have fairly new tires and rims. Center rings are on properly rim is torqued on tight as I had the tires rotated a few weeks ago. It's my summer rims. Problem exists with winter sport tires and winter alloy rims as well Problem has been noticed about a a year ago but very mild. It seems to be getting worse as time passes. Still think there is something i\we missed i transfer case or drive shaft area. But the dealer has been under it twice now with his mechanics after all the tests were performed. I.e fluid levels, pressure test ,any play etc.etc. guess he knows better than me but
Thnx for your response. Again, any light shed on this is helpful Would hate to think something worse is yet to come down the road.
Cheers

Interestingly enough, that uses to be the case but no. Now At times it also occurs on a level road when your trailing at a stop sigh and then get going again. It pretty much always happens if you do the same thing on an incline. This is pretty much only during the transition of when your getting going. At higher speeds I.e 25 kms and up it completely disappears .

if you get the chance maybe take it to a parking lot, have someone stand outside so they can try to pin point the sound better. IF its the rims, are they touching your brakes? or something they shouldnt? whats your rim and tire size?

Interesting suggestions. I will try having someone stand outside while I try to replicate the problem this weekend ( should not be hard) I have 18 " Rims with a 45 off set... Tires are 235x40 no rubbing or no inner rim marks suggesting that something is touching. A previous post suggested the U joints Have to check that as its never been suggested until now. Do you think the transfer case is still potentially at fault here? The car used to hop like this even on the stock Ralliart rims when I had them although not nearly as badly. Brakes are stock No BB kit on this one
Thnx
