Hi guys
I installad some led bulbs for the reverse light and they light up (both, good polarity) but after 3 seconds they turn back off while the car is still in reverse
Does the car stop sending voltage because it senses no bulb (instal resistor)
or is it something else

 

Yes you need a load resistor.....google it, you will find other threads about this and what resistor to get.

 

since it is only reverse light i figured it would work guess I was wrong

 

For sure one 8 ohm 50 watt resistor will work i just did this myself

Contemplating going with a 25 watt resistor on each bulb harness to see how that works
