Question about goin to the snow for first time
So I might go to the mountains to hit up the snow and was wondering if the AWD system is good enough or am I going to need chains?
Thanks!
Thanks!
My RA has been excellent in the snow, mind you I have winter tires. The oem tires are said to be brutal in snow and on ice.
I've only had my RA stuck once and that was going through a section of 2ft of snow for about 30 yards, nearly made it through but my bumper acted as a plow and eventually got the frame hung up. 4WD Tacoma couldn't get me out, an Avalanche got me out after a good 20 minutes.

We have one of the best AWD setups in the world.
But EVERYONE in EVERY CAR has All Wheel Braking.
It's all up to your tires, honestly. The AWD is good when people think you have a fwd drive car and you can hang the tail out on every corner (much more fun doing it in snow tires because of the control I have vs. all seasons).
