Sure, I'll hit him with "The homie deprydation said..." first of course.

Part of me would rather use the open source stuff, log what I can, contribute what I can. I figure that way I can learn more also and potentially get the most out of it. As it is now, if I don't, I feel like the Tractrix cable wasn't a good investment and that maybe a wideband isnt either.

I think If I had definitions it would just be a matter of copying what's already been done, but maybe I'm wrong...

Tactrix cable and a wideband are great investments!

What I'm saying is take your car to Road Race, get an initial tune, then use your tactrix and wideband to do street tuning as you add parts, desire different performance, etc. Since you're paying RRE to tune it, you could ask nicely for a copy of the definitions they use for your own personal use.

Never hurts to ask.

Hmmm If it plays out that way, I'd do it. Maybe I'll drive over and just talk to the guy see what he's willing to do and what he isn't. Not far from my office.

Thanks for the advice, Dep!

Without assembler-level work, you wouldn't have the boost control right - for the boostpill version base maps, anyway.

I'll get to the 2013s soon, I promise.

Imagine the funny look Mike would give this guy if he asked for the clutch discount on a Ralliart...

It'd be a good enough laugh out of him to probably warrant a tuning hook-up.

I hear ya'... but for a mild RA (with Pill, TBE and drop in filter) - the V3.0 base map is plenty sufficient.

Why pay more?

Think hp/$ ratio.

More mods (cams, etc.) need a custom tune.
