I'm sure they have, but once you account for the cost of materials, machining time, powder coating, new hardware, and shipping/packaging materials they quickly find out it's not a cheap to produce as they first thought.

Thanks for chiming in, Jeremy. It was actually noted earlier that the comment was made before realizing that the piece was made from Al. He then retracted that statement and changed his commentary accordingly. I'll be happy to discuss with you further if you feel more should be done to change the outcome of this thread. Please send me a message if you like.

For your information the GT-R and Evo are MY personal cars....NOT SSP's.

Unfortunately, that wild guesstimation was also made on the impression that this was a steel piece, and not Al, which, again, was confirmed and thus negated previous assumptions.

It is well known that SSP provides great, high-quality products to the market and I don't think that there are many that can compare with what they are doing.

That being said, if anyone has an issue with a vendor's products, please feel free to let them know directly, via message, so that your point can be made (and discussed/remedied as necessary) and any misinformation leading to an incorrect assumption does not become public misinformation and unnecessarily derogatory (whether that was your intention or not).

Many of our vendors work with us exchanging ideas for wanted/needed parts and different adaptations to help them function or perform better based on customer feedback. If you have an opinion or idea that may help the product, vendor, and/or end-user, please feel free to relay that information in a constructive manner as I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. This is an important process, but needs to be handled diplomatically and professionally.
