09 ralliart with 61,000 miles.. The warranty is almost up on the car maybe another 1,000 miles so I wanted to get the dealer for anything I can. Sometimes while in reverse i get an occasional jerky transition from a dead stop any ideas?

 

Interesting....so I was driving the car tonight and my Service Required light came on I looked in the owners manual and it says a fault in the ACD which is the active Center Differential system....I guess its back to the dealer tomorrow! Any input?

warranty is up at 60k

 

Not my warranty I just bought the car and it has the lemon law for 60 days or 3,000 miles which ever comes first.

 

Buy a new warranty, I just turned over 99k kms just under 60k miles and I bought a 60k kms/4yr (30K miiles) warranty from mitsu. It wont be cheap tho, i paid 4k with taxes but its a bumper to bumper warranty, a power train is less.

 

Likely will require replacement of your AWC pump, roughly 2k cost. Good thing you're under warranty.

As previously recommended, look into an extended warranty for when your current coverage period expires.
