Thumbs up New Ralliart Owner With A Question.

Hello all!

This is my first post to evolutionm, so greetings to you all.

First off, I am a complete novice, I can't emphasize that enough. I repair computers for a living, but cars are like an alien language. I am hoping that this car will show me the ropes. Please use layman with me.

So, I proudly obtained a 2009 Ralliart a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. My only real qualm with it is this one thing:

I assume it has something to do with the head unit, but once again, I don't trust my judgement. When I play a CD/radio/bluetooth, the sound only comes out of the right speakers in the unit. When I use my RCA to 3.5mm for my phone in the aux port, sound plays perfectly from all speakers in the car.

So.. What is going on? I'm also looking into getting a new head unit in the car. Any suggestions besides OEM that include keeping the bluetooth functionality, or is that the only route to take?

Thanks for your time, and I look forward to your answers.

Your aux port has two wires. Red/White. Each wire corresponds with a specific side of the car. Unplug one, one side loses speakers. Etc.

As for your CD/Radio/BT deal, scroll through your headunit settings and make sure your fades (Front>Rear and Left>Right) are set accordingly.

Don't know if you have the Navi or not, but the Navi will also override the left speakers if it ever talks.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I don't have the Navi.

I made sure the fades were all set accordingly.. and what actually happened was that when the fade was set all the way to the left, the left speakers literally sounded like they had been blown up. So when I have music coming through the headunit on a neutral setting, its as if the left side of the car has blown speakers. On aux, all speakers work fine.

Sadly, it is a known issue with the radios. Mine is the same way.

I recomend an aftermarket radio with dash install kit (a plastic dash surround and wiring) and a Metra AXXESS steering wheel interface to keep your steering wheel controls (for radio/bluetooth functions).

Just go to crutchfield.com and they will set you up!
The install info is here on the forum as well.

GL!

Next step is to open up the dash and look at the connections , but You might want to look under the driver seat at the amp connections first if you have the RF system.

If you're going to open up the front dash, that includes the right side as well, might as well replace the head unit that meats all of your criteria.

If one source is fine and another is missing a channel - it is NOT the amp.
It is the headunit.

My bluetooth audio for voice commands/phone calls only comes out on the right side..

I assumed it was a safety issue. Should that not be the case?

Was just going to post this question. On BT playing music from my phone, everything sounds fine but when on a call, only get sound out of right speaker. Any way to fix this?
