Warning to all new RA/Evo X owners!!
Warning to all new RA/Evo X owners!!
These forums have been very useful for figuring out problems and DIY for my car. I just want to let you know guys know the ACD pump will fail especially if you have harsh winters full of road salt. Mitsubishi is aware of this problem but will not do anything. There's 2 things you can do. 1: Put some rustproofing on it or remove it and cover it in gravel gard. 2: Do a makeshift cover and cover that big gap where the pump is. The ACD pump is located under the rear passenger side tire. That pump is 3k and is dollar store quality. Please don't let the stealership get your money
There are covers for the pump, but I am not sure if they fit RA.
