Smoke out of vents when ac turned on

So had a weird issue this morning. Driving in moderate traffic, ac is on. Go to pass a car and turn off ac then turn it back on real quick and smoke comes out of the vents for about 5 seconds. Turn it off then back on and same thing happens. No smell of anything being burnt. tried to reproduce it again about 10 min later and didnt do it.

Anyone have this happen before?

Yeah normal. all my cars have done this, It's sun light hitting it perfectly to show the temp change in the cold air coming in. seems to happen more in humid weather.

^ close. It is the condenser suddenly no longer 'drying' the air - so the accumulated moisture that had not drained away (the 'water puddle under the car' after running a/c) is now being forced out into the cabin.

It is not 'smoke'.
