timing chain
hi there 2010 ralliart sportback 47000 km timing chain must be replace car is stock they wandering how that happens should i wander for shure we have issue here there is gonna be people more and more with this issue funny is i sold impreza 7 years never had problems i made huge mistake buying this junk........
Using full sentences would make it easier for others to follow what you are saying
Has your oil been changed regularly? (Canadian severe service interval is every 3 months/5000km). Do you have the records for that?
If so, and your car is stock, getting the timing chain replaced under warranty with the newer design (2012+) timing chain that is less prone to stretching should not be an issue. This is probably of little consolation, but you are not the only one to be in this spot.
Going to the right dealer is key in the GTA, as many of them are less than competent.

Mine is 09 and got 107,000 clicks on mine, modded and no chain issue. Hope dont have to worry bout that.
As trailbrake said, it really helps, or should I say, it keeps the timing chain from premature wear or stretching if you do your oil regularly. Having said that, it also includes if you dont abuse your car.

...and the car is 'not junk'. Take a deep breathe.
Every car has issues. All of them.
I hope you researched the forum and the interwebs thoroughly before buying (i did).
