Well I'm new to this forum as I just recently picked up an '09 Ralliart, Time to start having some fun......

My question to everyone out there is what performance mods can be done with out the re-map or ecu flash? I will end up doing the ECU work in the spring, (once I find someone around here than will or can do it) But I'm looking to just do alittle work prior to that, but what can be done with out the ECU flash?

Well the gst basemap would give you really the biggest gains. But without an ecu flash, you could do a catback exhaust, intercooler + piping. Anything else can mess with the ecu without a proper tune.

 

You can also safely do a hfc/test-pipe and drop-in air filter upgrade without flashing your ecu

 

Ive had my ralliart for about a year and slowly doing things to it. i just came across this and saw the message about the intercooler + piping not messing with the ecu. Does that mean i can swap them out with out a tune for a decent amout of time? i will have it tuned eventually.
