Lost boost after AEM CAI installed

Anyone has same problem?
i had 18 Psi with old intake, but now i only have peak 9 psi.
I did search some information, but most of these said it may caused by intake leaks.
I installed the intake by a good technician so i assume the installation is good.
i will have a dyno tuning on this Thursday, so do you guys think it will be better after the tuning or is BOV problem. Thanks.

Recheck the hoses leading up to it, Do you hear any noises? I doubt its the actual bov but more so a clamp hasn't been tightened properly

Honestly, I'd take it back to the shop that installed it.

If you want to take a look, check the electrical connector and the vacuum lines to the wastegate solenoid. It's the only thing that gets touched in the intake installation process that would affect boost levels. Take note of where the solenoid's vacuum lines should be connected. The bottom port should go to the turbo/wastegate and the upper port should be connected to a brass nipple in the AEM intake pipe. (J in the diagram)

Here's a step-by-step of what the installer should have done.

And, no, a tune will NOT fix your issue. You should absolutely get this sorted before taking it for the tune as you will end up wasting money and time if the car isn't sorted before you take it in.
