i have a 2003 evo 8 and i just installed injen intercooler piping and intake and now my dipstick is blowing out and spraying oil all over my motor. i already had hsk 272 cams, full exhaust, tune and mbc. im pushing 23psi and i rev to 8000rpms. i never had this problem before why would this only happen after the install of ic piping and intake?

 

don't know but you can order a retainer spring from Buschur Racing to stop that from happening or just use a ziptie. It's not uncommon.

After that crap happened on my evo. I bought that metal spring holder from Buschur Racing. Never again!

Its just a lot boost pressure now, and the car is getting older...

 

What did you do with the crankcase vent hose when you installed the new intake?

 

You ought to check your compression.

 

also check to make sure your pcv valve is working properly.
