Agree on everything, but a little ground clearance would help on the first day of snow. My stock skid plate have bend a little. The snow has constantly scratched that small piece of plastic on the plate. I don't know if you have the same problem.

I've been under my car a few times to change the Transmission oil, and I didn't notice any damage, or anything unusual.

I did however... possibly, not sure... damaged my inner tie-rod by going over a median curb while doing a left turn. I thought it was just fluffy snow, but I guess the street had a dividing curb and I went over it quickly to slip through traffic. But everything else on the car is just fine.

Here is an interesting aspect. I feel like it's also a sleeper to the insurance people. I don't pay any more for my RA than I did for my GT... maybe 5-10$ more a month, that's it.

I agree that they are underestimated but do not think they are sleepers at all. Maybe from the side because of the oem wheels but if you look at the front or back it's pretty clear that they are not a normal lancer

Last fun I had in mine before I traded in was a quick run with a new focus ST. Broke him off goin up hill and kept pulling. We both came to stop at the light and dude was like Damn that thing is fast!! I was all thanks bro

Most people had no clue what it was and shocked a grip of fools on the street. I will miss my RA as well as all my old cars.

the front yes, the hood is a dead giveaway, the rear though, It's basically identical to the GTS besides the dual exhaust and the ridiculously small ralliart badge. sadly most people won't think much of our miniscule diffuser :P

P.S. Why the hell is the stock ralliart badge so damn small anyway? Last gen Ralliarts had a bigger one!

I bought a bigger one because the original owner debadged my car. The oem one is micro though. Yeah that's true about the rear, if only we had aggressive looking diffusers, or at least an option to buy one haha

I just bought one on Friday, and before a month ago I'd never heard of them. Ever. Never even seen one. It certainly doesn't have the recognition of the WRX.

I had to stop at the dealership to hand off paperwork and on the way back, an R32 and myself were messing around and he could not lose me. I wasn't even close to full throttle, either. Got stopped at a stoplight and he asked 'dude, that's not an Evo, what the hell is it?' Stopped in the next shopping center and gave him the tour. He had no idea either.

I kinda like that nobody knows what it is.

I don't think so.

- Hood scoop & two vents
- Visible front mounted intercooler

I've had people confuse the vehicle for a real EVO

Random guy: Hey... nice EVO. How fast is it.

Me: Oh no, it's not an Evolution X, it just a Lancer Ralliart.

Random guy: Wow, I didn't know the EVO came in a Ralliart form.

Agreed with previous posts, from the front, no. The hood and front mount give it away. Ever look at a ralliart in the rearview mirror when it's behind you? Looks pretty mean.

Front the back yea, not much difference. Exhaust is really small. Plus , if you have a black ralliart like i do, the black plastic molding around the exhaust blends into the paint job, and looks even more like a gts.

My favorite "sleeper" was my 95 eclipse GSX. no difference appearance wise from the GS, except for that small gray lining the ran around the bottom of the bumpers and molding. It wasn't untill 97 that they got the really tall "boomerang" spoiler.

It doesnt have the same wing as the Evo. It actually has the same wing as the GTS.
