sounds like your fan kicking on making something metal vibrate. might just need to inspect the intercooler pipes, etc.

is your defrost on? sounds like a bad ac compressor. obviously without being there it could be anything. turn on your ac it'll turn on both the radiator fans and the ac compressor clutch.

I don't think so. It's only happens when the compressor kicks in. Does anyone know if this will be covered under warranty? She only has 40,100 miles. But ask y'all can see I've done a lot of mods.

That noise definitely happens when your cooling fan kicks on. Start from there. Check (while the car is off) to make sure that the blades aren't loose and check all the hoses and wires around the area to make sure nothing can be vibrating or rubbing near the cooling fan blades or motor.

I'd like to say probably, maybe. A compressor clutch isn't a normal wear item, so maybe.

So the noise came back on today. It's not as loud as before but it's still concerning me.

process of elimination is the only way you're gonna figure it out.

You think it's the a/c compressor clutch?
Now that it's noisy again, does it make the noise every time you start it?
Try taking the belt off, and start it.
Does it still make noise?
If it doesn't when you spin the A/C pulley does it feel rough?

Is it the A/C Condenser Fan?
Disconnect the plug and jump battery power to a pin and ground the other.
Does it make noise?
