Yesterday morning as I was driving to work I started hearing this weird whistle like sound.. it almost sounds like a bad ground on an amp. I noticed it does it as I'm going into boost. Has anyone heard this noise or know if this is the death whine of a tcase?

 

I may be wrong, but I thought the death whine was ALOT louder and you would def know if that was it.

 

Thats what I thought .. And I dont feel any vibration or hear any noises when I let off the gas.

 

I heard that the other day. Then the next time I punched it I blew a t-bolt.

 

Yeah I thought the sound/whine gets louder as you accelerate if it's the t case.

 

Im getting the car checked out next week.

 

Not the death whine. Trust me mines currently whining. Sounds to me like a torn or popped off vacuum line somewhere. Boost leak test it.

 

I agree with this^^. Check all your vac lines and t-fittings.
