You would be correct.

Chad emailed me the numbers today. I will be creating a thread and explaining in detail everything. Mods, experience, dyno data, my past and present dealings with CBRD and so on. I pick it up tomorrow and will post video as well. It will be a long post tomorrow but I will let you guys know my final numbers now I suppose haha

Here is daniels chart- i blocked out the name/license plate info-

You can see- it has virtually identical spool to stock- if not better- and running same PEAK psi- as stock- but holds about 4 more psi up top- this is with about 70% WGDC on a boost pill upgrade- whereas the stock turbo and actuator were at 100%-

55% WGDC at peak torque- 7 degrees at peak torque- 17 up top-

Would you recommend a 3 port? Seeing a lot of RAD upgrade with boost pill just wondering if no one is getting it because they don't see a need for it. Would only benefit with one I assume.

No benefit is gained from a 3 port. Chad explained this to me in detail but I was told It would be money not needed to be spent. I do not remember what he said exactly but it made sense for sure.

Look like Chad dialed back the torque just a bit compared to your previous stated value above.

RAD lite is compressor and WGA upgrade only (beefed up bearings if damaged)

RAD full adds a new aero turbine wheel too!!

the car was overlayed with the last time it was here- that is the chart displayed- therefor torque is similar at peak- +55 hp top- along with HP

hope this helps-

sorry on dyno

Hello everyone,

I know many of you have been wanting to know how everything went and how the Rad Full turbo performs. For those of you who have not been to or dealt with CBRD yet I urge you to read all this info as I highly recommend you become a customer.

First of all this is not my first time having work done by CBRD. I have been there in the past and the reason I continue to go I will discuss below. Many of the things I will cover too many shops overlook and do not consider important in their business.

Communication- Long before doing anything to my car Chad had Constant communication with me via email and giving me phone calls when I just had too many questions and needed to talk to him. I had planned to have so many mods installed and add all these things to the car. I told Chad what I wanted to do and he informed me all the extra mods I had in mind were not needed to achieve what I wanted. This speaks volumes of Chad because he could have just told me sure ill install them and charge me all the labor but he didn't do that. He told me just what I needed and only what I needed. Chad does not waste time with extra nonsense or things that don't give you what your looking for. If you have something you want done to your car he will tell you what you need and only that. Chad does not waste peoples time or money and guides you through the whole process from start to finish. If you have questions or have plans and you want quality work done I would tell you to talk to Chad first. He saved me a lot of money by not using mods I did not need.

The CBRD facility,
If you have never been to visit the CBRD building you need to make a point to do so. Chads shop is like no other I have ever seen. What you will find inside is the most state of the art, clean, and well put together performance center you can possibly have. If you go on their website you can see just a fraction of what it is like to be there. You will not find a single drop or fuel or oil of any kind on the floor. Tools, equipment, floors, displays are all spotless. In fact saying that CBRD is clean and well put together is an understatement its incredible. This is not a garage. It is a high performance shop where people mean business and are the best in the business PERIOD. There is game rooms and driving simulators, There is a children's entertainment room in case your children need a place to go while you are having your car being worked on, There is a kitchen that has drinks provided as well as water coolers and a microwave, There is display cases in the main lobby showcasing Chads racing achievements through his life, Also in the main lobby Chad has many of the parts he makes on display that get their own pedestal and showcase light, There is a tv room with couches and chairs as well as reading material which again show Chads impressive accomplishments, I could go on and on and explain even more that is impressive about his facility but there is just so much it is hard to put into words. You just need to see for yourself and then you will understand he means business and is a cut above the rest.

The RAD FULL TURBO
Chad is always working on new projects and ways to improve past and present products that he already has. One of the most recent improvements was the introduction of the Rad Full turbo which is a upgrade from the Rad lite. If you look at the post the Chad made above in the thread he explains the main differences. The biggest gain in my opinion was not just performance, but a turbo that is highly efficient. Being able to run lower boost and still get the same effect is a very important aspect in turbo charged cars. I can't not possibly say enough about how amazing the Rad turbo is to have on your car. Rad lite or Rad full the benefits and power behind this turbo are very quickly noticed the moment you drive the car. If you have ever had the chance to drive an EVO and a Ralliart the differences are night and day in the turbos. The Rad turbo out spools the standard EVO turbo at a rate that is unbelievable. The moment you press on the throttle the car is ready to go instantly. With the Rad Turbo lag just seems like a thing of the past. By the time the person you are racing at the track Is spooled up you are already 4 car lengths ahead of them. Having a turbo that spools quickly is very important if you are competing or racing and that immediate power is needed. If there is anyone that is in the Maryland area or even close and you would like to test drive my Ralliart to see for yourself I would be more than willing to let someone do that. As far as the sound of the turbo there is also a very big difference. As you speed up you can hear the wonderful whistling sound that was not as loud as before. When you really get on the throttle you can really hear that baby spin with an aggressive hum that just says to on lookers I HAVE BOOST When it comes to the Rad turbo series no matter what route you choose Rad lite or Rad full I promise you will not be disappointed. It will meet and exceed your expectations hands down and will put you ahead of the competition.

Chad Block,
From the moment that you talk to Chad you will quickly learn he is unlike any other person in the business. Chad is the kind of person who does not treat you like a customer but he treats you like a old friend. He always calls you by name and remembers you and what you have talked about. He actually pays attention to your wants and needs and will cover every aspect of them in detail. A prime example of this is when I went to pick up my car from his shop. As Chad and I sat there in his TV room relaxing on his comfy chairs he went over every detail about what was done with my car. Chad explained each thing that was changed in the tune and how it related to what was done. If I did not understand something he would be more than happy to explain it. If I had other questions again he had no problem going into detail about it. All of these things is what truly sets him and his business apart from the rest. CBRD as a whole is the way all performance shops should be in this business. I am more than happy to say I am part of the CBRD family. Chad and his hard working employees have earned themselves a lifetime customer.

First we will be the best
Then we will be the first

That is the CBRD motto. That is the way it was meant to be. I can't thank Chad and his team enough for all their efforts and work. I look forward to all the future business I will do with them.

That's an impressive write up! Do you have a full list of mods posted somewhere? I'd love to see it, so I can calculate the rough cost to duplicate your setup. I'm strongly considering this turbo, because my RA is my DD, and I really enjoy short sprints and would benefit from the fast spool. 350 WHP was always my goal, but Chad's dyno is on the conservative side and I think I'd rather have 300 on a RAD than 350 on an Evo X style turbo with more lag.
