I have a 2014 Ralliart with the factory touch screen head unit not the navi or DVD just the basic one but I cant use the Bluetooth settings wile moving, I.e switch paired devices and such, is there a way around that? One that wouldn't become an issue later on, and is there any hacks or mods to do to it to make it more useful ?

 

I don't think there's a way to change that unless you have a tool (not sure if it even exists) to flash onto the unit. The BT and phone pads are greyed out when the car is in motion as a safety feature to reduce distracted driving. If you find a way, let us know!

 

That's funny you can scroll through 200 xm stations but can't dial a 9 digit fone number, one of these things is more distracting than the other

 

Agreed, haha! I've turned to voice dial on my N5 though. Also, mounted my LTE enabled N7 to the dash and has nearly replaced the OEM touch screen.

 

I have done the same more or less I have my galexy tab mounted below my environment controls pared to a Bluetooth obd thingy using the torque pro app so I can have a boost gauge, till I buy one,
