Hello All, Let me introduce myself, My name is Jacob, I am 20 years old and from Westren MD. I am going to school with a double major of Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. I am currently employed full time as an Assistant Manager at Advance Auto Parts. Working here has really solidified my love for cars. Ever since the new body style Lancer was announced in 2008 I knew that I wanted one. However my finances didn't allow for one untill recently.

Dads Ride:

Note the "Ralliart" Badge in the Grill...He wants a Ralliart Outlander sport to be developed.. and may even venture into using my stock Ralliart mani, turbo etc once his warranty is up

Moms ride:

No pictures of my sisters lancer but its just a Stock Octane Blue SE

I take care of the fleet of vehicles at the house so my moms and dads get the treatment (Tinted windows, Knn Filters, Plasti-Dipped wheels and grills etc)
My sister's on the other hand i was told i wasnt allowed to touch (Via her) shes not into the whole black wheels, black Grille Tint etc, She did howver allow me to put on a Ralliart spoiler on hers along with the alloy fuel door.

Looking in my driveway I felt like the Outcast, Both of my parents drive Mitsu Outlander sports, and my sister has a Lancer SE, Me on the other hand Had my own pride and Joy, A 2006 Honda Element AWD 5speed. Seeing as how it turned into my project car and my DD I knew that I needed to grab up something else to have a reliable Daily. I didn't just wanna go out and grab a neon or something else to have because I knew that i would never want to drive it. Why would I buy something that i wont wanna drive i asked myself. That led to the search for a new vehicle. I really wanted a Toyota Tacoma or FJ Crusier but relized that they just weren't quite in reach to buy straight out (And I didn't want to get rid of the Toaster Project More on that in a little bit) So instead i bought the other want of mine, A 2010 Lancer Ralliart With the Recaro package and Rockford sound system.

The Toaster Project: The entire reason for the Ralliart purchase was for my project I have going for my Honda Element. Turning in into a true "Toaster" Currently its got 5% tint, 2.5in exhaust (No Cat) 2 core aluminum radiator, Buddy club short shifter, Intake etc. Full Sound System sitting on 18x8 wrapped in 255/55R18 Future plans (The reason for needing a second Vehicle) 2008 Acura TSX motor swap, 2006 Acura RSX Head, 6speed conversion, Cams, rods, pistons, S2000 oil pump, etc, Sidewinder Turbo manifold, a PTE 6152E turbo, Misitumoto Front mount, Tial Wastegate, Greddy BOV, Open o2 dump, 750cc injectors, Aeromotive 320 Fuel pump, Tuned with an AEM Fic-6. Visually it will Get the front end conversion off of a 2008 SC. Goal for the Toaster is 450HP..(You can see now why i needed a second daily)

Now onto the Ralliart, Plans for this one Includes 18x9+35 wrapped in 245/40r18 (Rolled fenders) Bushnar Frontmount, Intercooler hard pipe kit, AEM intake for the EVO, Relocated battery to the truck, some sort of Turbo upgrade for the EvoX, (FP Red?) UR exhaust, Widemouth Downpipe, New Navi Headunit, 600HP 10clutch setup from SST (Sending the transmission to Jacks to get rebuilt) Protuned by COBB.. and whatever else i see fit during the progress.

Already put a KNN drop in and LED DRL's

Hope to get to know some of you guys. And I'm glad to be able to officially be a member of the Mistu Club!!

Welcome!

Your project(s) seems well-thought-out and quite achievable.

First of all thank you for the welcoming, second I hope to have a build thread for the ralliart up here before long. The projects are seasonal however . The Honda will be built during the summer and the ralliart during the winter seeing as it hasn't (except for one day) and never will see snow or salt . It's currently waxed and in the garage .the Honda is my winter vehicle .so therefore it will be built over the summer .

Thanks I think it's pretty nice looking as well. Just needs some wheels, Road Armour Flaps, and front splitter for now.
And yeah I'm still deciding on if i like the stripes or not.. its different for sure. Whats everyone else's opinion? Keep the stripes or take them off? I'm on the fence about them at the moment. They are just vinyl decals. So removal is not a problem.

Your vehicle, do what makes you happy, what YOU like. My 2¢, keep the stripes it's original. Do a build thread with lots of pics and details for everyone to follow here, Congratulations & welcome to the RA club.

Ill defiantly make a build thread once I get her out of the garage when the weather clears up. Hopefully ill be making a trip to buschur racing here in the next few months to get it tuned. My mom still wonders why i purchased an AWD car and am not driving it in the winter. I would if it wasn't for all the salt and other chemicals that they use to treat the roads around here. Ill be sure to keep you posted, and thanks for the welcoming.
