Hey guys, looking for a little help with Cobb AP v3
I just picked it up today for my '12 RA. First let me start off by saying I do notice a difference, but for 700 bucks, its not as drastic as I was hoping for. I used the Stage 1 93+ map from the cobb site and its okay. SO my question is, is it safe to go up to a stage 2 or 3 map without some of the parts they recommend (I've only done intake and BOV, no exhaust at all and no BSC) OR is there another place to get maps for each specific application based on the mods you do have? I'm sure this has been asked and addressed before so I apologise for another new thread about it but I haven't used this site much and don't really know how to navigate or search for things.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Neg. Do not run a tune that is designed for modifications you don't have. You can get a custom AccessPort tune to try and draw more power but that would be a waste of money. Wait out... Save up... Install the parts needed for more power then get a custom tune or stick with the stage 2/3.
Also... What kind of intake did you install?

That's what I figured. Is there much difference regarding BCS's? Which company is best, and how much boost is too much for an RA?
And I got this AEM one a while back, but I didn't pay nearly that much

I used a Cobb EBCS to match my AccessPort. I don't know if the grimspeed one will work with the AP my guess it would. But i bet Cobb would beg to differ.
Okay, to my recollection the aem box doesn't require a tune so you should be good.
Best advice id give you is just follow the Cobb requirements for each map.
