Keep the chrome ;D

Plasti dip will look worn over time, and need to be touched up everyone 12months or so

If you are good with spray paints you can pull the bumper and pain the trim to match. But I plasti dipped mine and I like the quick removal option.

Paint it or powder coat it if you don't want chrome. Plasti-dip is nice but not for longevity

I plasti-dip touch up about once every 5 months.

I disagree with the comments about plasti-dip looking worn over time. I've had mine on there for over 3 years and it looks almost as good as the day it was applied.

The rock chips make shiny spots...

Once there are enough shiny spots - I feel compelled to re-coat

I say plastidip because you can go back to stock whenever you want. Mine has been on a different car I did the entire front bumper 16 months ago and it looks brand new other than a few minor spots that any finish would show.
It takes some practice to be able to lay it down smoothly at the right thickness and prep prep prep and clean. A good technique and cleaning well will last 2 years.
And you can pull it off/ try a different color or go back to stock in minutes!
