Evo X License Plate Install
I searched and found a ton of old write ups with dead links so I really tried to find the answer before posting...
I just bought an Evo X plate holder for relocating the Ralliart's plate from the front to the side. I also ordered the hardware (2x rubber screw plates with 2x screws and washers).
I can see where I need to drill but I'm having a hard time understanding how the rubber plates hold the assembly in place. Do I drill from the front and then push the rubber screw plates into the holes? If so, what prevents the rubber piece from coming back out the front?
Or do I reach back inside and push the rubber from the inside out to the front?

Check out the pdf file in the link ^. The rubber pieces expand when you start tightening the screws down so they hold the bracket from behind the bumper. Just make sure you drill the correct size holes. Don't make them to big.

There's a nut in the end of the rubber piece. As you tighten the bolt in the nut, it pulls it closer and creates a bulge in the rubber which makes it secure itself behind the bumper.
