I just installed 235/40's on EvoX Enkei's w/ stock springs. I have the rear rolled at the first notch only. I know of a bump that puts load on the rear to check. Will do tomorrow.

No rub under heavy load. Had all 4 of the snow tires in teh rear seats and did a launch towards a sharp incline that rubs my 17x8 +35 245/45's on the same rear roll.

Stock suspension

FYI, 18 x 8.5 +48 will not clear the front if you have coilovers. They grind on the strut body, ask me how I found out at a wasted track day
Please update the OP, as it says front clears no problem and rears might need a spacer; it would be good to include this bit about coilovers. In my case the rears had PLENTY of clearance, so I incorrectly surmised that the fronts would be fine. DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING, don't be like me

Not sure if this was asked yet or not, certainly not scrolling through 55 pages...

What about 18x9 +38? +45?

+45 will rub the suspension on the inner lip, will need ~10mm spacers to fit.

+38 will come very close as well, and could potentially need small (~3mm) spacers to clear the inner suspension.

+35 is a confirmed fit, but it will all come down to suspension and alignment to determine if +38 will fit, or not.

Thanks. I figured +38 would be borderline.

i was running 18x9 +38 all round with 235/40 with coilovers lowered about 2.5" or so.. no issues with suspension rubbing inner lip..

There you have it... What were your camber settings, if you don't mind?

It's all going to depend on camber. A 18X8.5 +48 rubs the front struts @1.5*
Let's see: 1in = 25.4 mm
18x8.5 = 215.9mm w/ centerline of 107.95, +48 = 162.3 (grinding)
18x9 = 228.6mm w/ centerline of 114.3, +35 = 149.3 (good)
Change the camber and **** goes out the window

You should have no problems with a stock sized tire on that wheel

So I got my 18x9 +35 RPF1's and 245/40/18 tires. I'm afraid that the Eibach's are going to be too high would the RRM springs look better?

I have 235/45/18 on stock evo x 8.5 +38...I have some rubbing on stock height and suspension. If I go with some stiff coilovers will it help any? It only rubs in the rear on slow speed but quick turns when the cars weight is shifted.

Advise please!!
Right now i'm deciding between
19x8.5+35 And 19x9.5+40

What would be a better fitment? Would i have problems going with 19x9.5+40 offset?
