There are a great many modifications that fall into this category. People don't know why they do half of the **** that they do to their cars, and then they are shocked and shaken when they find out that that modification that they paid an arm and a leg for didn't make their car any faster.

I can't find the video now, but at some point on Top Gear, they an Avantine and tried to make it as fast as an Evo X. They added a BBK, wheels, tires, front splitter, more horsepower, etc., and it was still only mildly faster than it started out.

 

I still love my bbk ;p even moreso when I track it when I retun from my trip

 

If I were making the car for all out racing purposes i would probably buy the kit but as of right now that will never happen.
