Evo X front Brembos = fit

As amazed i could be, i was at Platinum Mitsu today and they had successfully moved the front Brembo's off an MR Evo X and fit them on the Ralliart. It was sitting there with MR wheels as well, as the stockers will obviously no longer fit.

On a side note, the rear brakes were not working out, so it looks like the fronts are doable, and the rears aren't.

Did you ask how they did it? I'm somewhat suspicious given that AMS reported it was not an easy thing to do. Is it possible that they simply have Brembos on the car, not the Evo Brembos?

they are off a wrecked evo, and i saw them on the car today, and not on the wrecked evo right next to it.

Go to platinum, and look at the wrecked evo MR in the shop ( your buddies) with no front brakes, and talk to brandon about it. They are on, and working from what i was told. It was on the hoist, but finished when i was there.

Odd, it would be nice to find out how they did it. Maybe they changed the hubs, axles, etc.

I guarantee all the did was take off the Evo X calipers and get custom carriers made. It's very easy to do as most brembo's are the same casting. I highly doubt they would have gone to much more trouble than that.

Once I get some spare cash I'll be doing a similar thing.

this is 100% off the MR they have.

I had inquired about parts earlier in the week and he had mentioned that the brakes were spoken for by a Ralliart owner, to which i replied GL getting them to fit. I went back on thursday and they were working on moving them from the Evo to the RA, and got the fronts to fit. The rears would not fit or hadnt yet when i left.
