Fender flare?

Hey guys was just wondering if anyone knew much about fender flare? Where can I get them done? How much does it normally cost? I really didn't expect to do this but in order for me to get the wheels I want i need to flare my fenders :[ I'm trying to get rota GRID 18x9.5 +38 offsets wrapped in 235/40 or 245/35. Was wondering if anyone knew did I really need a flare or can I just get away with rolling my fenders? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Why would you want a 9.5 in wheel with only a 235 or 245 wide tire? Are you looking for the stretched look?

You're looking at custom work unless you want to use Evo fenders front and rear, which would require some customization anyways as well as potentially more parts. If you're going so far as to flare the fenders or getting fender flares, why not run real wide tires like 255s or 265s? You can fit 235s on an 8" wheel which wouldn't require any customization to fit.

When flaring, you need to take into account repairing and repainting of your guards and rear quarter panels - it's not really a cheap excerise unless you really want that look, maybe a better option to find slightly less aggressive rims.

Personally, I really like my flared guards but I came into it with open eyes knowing that there was going to be a decent repair bill

i second that!!!! its all about the aggressive stance of the RA and if it take a bit of the stretch on the tires... and a pull on the rear... no problem.... do it like the ninja dos in the JDM world haha

that is an awesome quote - 'do it like the ninja's do in the JDM world'

i've been thinking of late, would i go down the same path knowing all the work that was involved? answer is still 'hell, yeah!'
