What do you do with your crappy advan a10's?
So this past weekend I had my Conti DWS's installed on my stock rims, 225/45/R18. They're already a dream and I really like them, but I couldn't bring myself to have them dispose of my old stock summer tires. They're garbage compared to these, especially when winter hits...but I still feel like I should sell them at least, instead of just throw them in furnace somewhere with barely 10k miles.
What did you all do when you got new tires? They're in my backseat smelling up the cabin with nasty rubber smells. I'd probably let them all go for 100$ or donate them for a tax write off...
Ideas?

I went the same route last november and just chucked the advans. The DWS's rocked going through 10+ inches of snow. The only problem is that I drive so damn much that I will wear it down pass the "snow" rated thread depth by this winter so I'm probably gonna just get a 2nd set of wheels and dedicated winter tires.
BTW: the DWS's are the first set of tires i've seen tested on tirerack that performed BETTER in braking and cornering in the wet than dry.

I replaced my stock Dunlops with Nokian WR G2's within two months of buying the car, then the wife got sick of them sitting in the garage for 10 months so I basically chucked them for nearly free (local car forum member picked them up for $150)

Today it rained in Chicago a lot, and these things were freaks. A-mazing grip.
