Can you confirm that the MRT BBK uses C5 Corvette calipers? If so, did the calipers require brackets?
I am trying to put the pieces together here, so that I can release a "DIY BBK" for the Ralliart. The C5 Z06 had the same sized rotor (as far as I know) as the Evo IX Brembos. I just measured them. As long as the bolt pattern is the same (C5 vs. RA), then this should be a direct swap.

Great idea but i dont think the bolt pattern is the same. Pretty sure the c5 is 5x4.75
I think thats 5x120 in our terms lol
Would have been awesome because the rotors for a c5 are dirt cheap! its amazing how cheap it is to track that car.

But we definitely need some kind of brake solution for our RA's that wont bust the bank.
Thanks for doing what you're doing!
I was going to start trying to do a DIY brake cooling kit.

I know that it is. I have a set of Evo IX Brembo rotors sitting in my garage that I plan to use. I had them on the car earlier. I know that they fit. The calipers have a specific bolting up pattern, as well. That has nothing to do with the hub size.
Thanks, though.

yep, it is indeed the C5 callipers (made by in pbr sydney) to confirm, i went to a brake specialist here in adelaide for different pads to use and the new ones installed were designed for the C5 and it was the perfect match.
as to brackets, im not sure - i can take photos with the wheel off on the weekend if you like?

the stock 18" rims just fit with the mrt (C5) kit, so it might have a tough time with 17's... by just i mean i had to take off the wheel weights to avoid them touching

I have a set of C5 Z06 Calipers coming tomorrow. These things are DIRT cheap. It was $150 with shipping. That is absolutely insane. We are talking about full BBK in the front for $500-600. I will get working on the rears if the fronts work out. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a similar situation back there. Happy dance!
