Before we go down this repeated path of destruction. I highly recommend you make the upgrade to better suspension. Namely Coilovers. By design the struts will not take very well to springs. Some cars, they dont mind it as much, but these KYB struts just can not handle lowering. I have seen a high number of failures since I run the Lancer car club up in Toronto. My visit to the dealers also confirm this.

I highly recommend you go with coilovers over replacing struts. If you spend money to fix the one OE strut in question, another may fail shortly after.

I have recommendations for what coilovers to buy, but regardless of what you do, coilovers are the better way to go. It might seem like an expensive bullet, but you will not regret the better handling and full range of custom setup of a coilover kit.

Like with what total0wnage said, this is not a good idea. and may lead to strange behavior at the extremes. Its not recommend. you either go all or none.

IIRC, we have the same strut as GTS guys ... so KYB for GTS shouldd work...
