Spacer info?

Hi guys!

Im having new brakes soon, and i need about 2mm spacers to front clear the brake calipers. Of course i will put to rear too,so car axle width will remain same to front against rear. But then i will rub tyres again to fenders on rear.
What do you guys think,if i just put spacers to front? Does it change a lot handling when only talking about 4mm?
If it´s bad idea,or change hanling much, then i just make some body work.No problem....

I've read that it puts more long term stress on the hubs. That being said I've also seen alot of people use them only on the front(10- 25mm)on track cars for wider stance and better turning. I'd guess 5mm and less don't do much since u don't need extended lugs. I'd probably try to get hubcentric ones if you can find them.

2mm per wheel is such a small amount that I wouldn't be concerned about extra hub stress. Even 10mm wouldn't be much cause for concern for me, personally.

Yeah exactly what the guy above me said. 2mm is nothing, I doubt that would even cause any rubbing issues

Thanks guys.

Yes,you are right! It´s so small amount...So i i think i worry too much Just wanted to ask your opinion.
If it only makes handling better, then its good news So no problem then. But i think its more like FR car´s thing....Dont know sure...
Yes,i will try them to rear too of course. IF rubbing issues, then i try only for front.I know it´s very small amount, but there is no room for rear tyres anymore.Maybe just that 2mm in bad luck But let´s hope that it clears fender still with spacers
I think i take 3mm´s. Just in case, because it´s good to have some extra clearance between calipers and wheels.

you actually get better turn in response with a wider front track than rear.... or that is the theory at least.

El-Diablo: Stoptech BBK. to front and rear. Ordered those week-two ago,so i will get them maybe next week.

Mad_SB: Thanks! Then it sounds like that i can leave rear alone IF it will rub with spacers.
