Spacers OK?

I have a Robispec setup with 18x9.5 +38 wheels, they clear the brakes and everything else perfectly but I'd like a little more "fender flushness"... They're a little too inboard for my taste.

I'm thinking about running a 10 or 15mm spacer in the front (probably a 15mm Project KICS) and a 5 or 10mm spacer in the rear (probably a Fighters Garage).

Will it mess up my alignment or put unnecessary stress on the system or will I be OK?

I put 5mm spacers on just my fronts so my rims could clear the calipers. I was able to get a good 4-5 turns on the lugs with the stock studs, but I get a lot of wheel vibration at certain times. I am not sure because of the spacers, or out of balance wheels, or just because I got bigger rims. i wouldn't go with any bigger than 5 mm, unless you get longer studs, make sure you get spacers that go over the studs, not the kind that have there own studs built into them.

I run 10mm Project KICS on my Enkies (NT03+ M 18x9.5 +27) with no problems.

AND btw, I have a set of Project KICS 15mm Spacers for sale...I used them for 400 miles then switched to 10mm when I found a set. Let me know if you want them..

You don't want to run spacers until you have to. With that said, running them in the rear is unnecessary and only should be run in the front if your wheels do not clear the calipers.

are your 5mm spacers hub centric? I couldn't find 5mm hub centric spacers so i had to get some custom made for me. Not having a hubcentric spacer is probably causing the vibration

I ran 25mm Kics spacers before with no issues.
Had them on my car for 4 drift events with no issues.

I ran 15mm Ichiba spacers on the evo before I got my Work CR Kais...
Great stuff. cheaper alternative.

I wouldn't run anything above 5mm spacer without longer studs, or the bolt on spacer kit.
Also...by adding spacers - it will not throw off your alignment.
They have 5mm / 10mm / 15mm / 20mm / 25mm....

Would you prefer the Ichiba above or the KICS in terms of fitment and quality? I would think the KICs would be worth the extra money since they are easier to install and can be removed back to a stock setup fairly easily.

Since my evo is my daily driven car... I don't really change my wheels and tires much.
They're both nice. They both worked well. Ichibas are much cheaper.

As you have mentioned...it's all on, how often you change your wheels, and if you have wheels with different offset and size.

I guess the Ichiba would be fine even for various offset wheels so as long as you have open lug nuts to accommodate the longer studs.
