Offset for Rallart Rims

Can anyone tell me what is the perfect offset for 18x8.0 rims for the 09+ Ralliart?

People need to learn to search or look around for literally 2 mins before asking questions

moved to the proper section.... and aside from that...

OP, please at least look around the forums before you post questions that are clearly answered in sticky threads at the top of relevant forums

Ok, searched that sticky, but it does not give specs for a car that is lowered, only for non-lowered, who actually gets better and bigger rims and tires and doesn't do a drop with a good suspension? +48 might be perfect for non lowered cars but I want to lower the car with either 225/45 18's or 225/40 18's or 235/40 18's on an 18X8.0 rim. Why are there no specs for the proper offset for that setup, I mean hasn't anyone done that? I find that hard to believe.I want the rims and tire to clear with no rubbing. What is the offset for those rim and tire specs on a lowered 09 and up Ralliart? Is there a way to calculate? Forget the hack job of rolling your fenders.

From the sticky:

18x8 +30 will = fronts will be poke out about 1/2" flushed and rears will be maxed flushed
Inner Clearance: 3mm LESS Outer Face Position: 29mm MORE
Tries:
225/45 18 if lower to prevent rubbing and cutting of the wheel on the fender with out rolling
235/40 18 will rub a little on the fenders with my calculation on bumps, dips, and pot holes and maybe driveways too
***This fitment is too AGGRESSIVE with rolling the fenders***
***Now for the JDM look this will work for those dont know what i mean is the slammed drifter look in japan where all 4 wheels poke out just little past the fenders and the car has rock hard suspension setup and lower the car to about 1 1/2" before rubbing the fenders***

18x8 +40 will = fronts will be flushed and rears will need a 10mm spacer being maxed flushed
Inner Clearance: 7mm LESS Outer Face Position: 19mm MORE
Tries: 235/40 18 no rubbing issues with stock height
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/9252639-post571.html

18x8 +45 will = fronts will be closer to being flushed and rears will need a 10mm spacer to be maxed flushed
Inner Clearance: 12mm LESS Outer Face Position: 14mm MORE
Tires: 235/40 18 no rubbing issues with stock height
***FIT PERFECT with out SPACER***

My track wheels

18x8 +48 will = fronts will be closer to being stock and rears will be closer to being stock
Inner Clearance: 15mm LESS Outer Face Position: 11mm MORE
Tires: 235/40 18 no rubbing issues with stock height

What more do you need to know man... you see that each offset they give you the change in position of the wheel face both outside and inside so all you need to do is take a tape measure out to your car and measure.... As for the lowered clearance... no one can say for sure because we don't know how much you plan to lower the car. If you want to be safe then use the offsets they give on tirerack because those almost never stick out further than OEM and should clear just about as low as you can go. That was my plan, ordering 18X8's with 235 40 Z1's from tire rack and then using a 5 or 10 mm spacer to set them closer to the fender without needing to roll.

Yes there are plenty of offset calculators.... the googles can help you find some that you just plugin the numbers and they spit out the change in face position.

lol, don't count out fender rolling. It means the difference between an agressive set up and string cheese for tires.

I can personally tell you from my set up:

Wheels:18x8, +45 Offset
Tires: 225/45/18
*Lowered on Swift Springs, dropped @ 1.2 in. Front and 1 in. Rear.

There is some room left in my wheel wells, not rubbing during turns, speed bumps, and a full family in the car.

To tell you the truth, I feel my offset is pretty weaksauce being so close to stock, I prefer having them more flush (especially the rears) since I went through the trouble of going aftermarket with the wheels. Might get spacers in the future once I'm sure the place I found can do fender rolling without cracking the paint.

Rolling is an artform. Not many places can do it, depending on your location. It's very discouraging to call ten places and receive a response of "WTF??" when you inquire about fender rolling.

Modding... good times.

Thanks Mad_SB, finally someone has some straight answers, the only thing about the sticky was that it didn't help in regards to a car that was lowered.
You have 18x8's with 235/40 18 tires at +48 offset and the car is lowered without rubbing? Then that is what i will go with.
Wouldn't a +52mm offset be even better in terms of clearance?
The rims I am getting are custom so they can give me any offset I want.
Thanks for the info.

No, I'm still on stock wheels and tires... the info i posted came directly from the sticky. Based on that info.. 18X8 +30 seems to be the safe bet if your are going lower. If they are not flush enough at that point you can go with small spacers to dial it in.
