Probably a dumb question

The left rear of my car is sitting lower than the right. When you look at it from behind it sits lower on the left side. When you look at it from the front it looks even. Could this be a spring or a strut? Or something else?

I just noticed it and I think its been like that since I've had the car so its bugging the crap out of me. Again, sorry for the dumb question and thanks for any response!

If its stock suspension take it in and get the dealer to look at it.

Thats the thing I live 3 hours away from the nearest Mitsu dealer. Was just hoping for some suggestions on what it could be. There isn't any clunking or out of the ordinary noises. It still drives straight and everything.

It is the stock suspension.

I'm going to be installing Eibachs here soon so if that fixes the problem then I wouldn't need to bring it in. I guess I'm more concerned if it is a strut.

you sure your on level ground? if not it very easily could look off, measure from the wheel centers to the fender lip on both rears, move the car and do it again, then post the measurements.

unless you have a shock body / mount failure the shock will not affect the ride height.

Yeah, everytime I park somewhere I have checked to see if its the same when I get back to the car for the past two days.

I will measure them, I suppose that is the easiest way to tell.

Are their any other reasons for this to happen?

bent spring perch, failed shock mount, failed unibody where the shock mounts... I would think you would be hearing a whole lot of noise if any one of those were the case.
