Largest Possible Rear Wheel?

I tried measuring today but I couldn't come up with an easy number. Does anybody know the max wheel size I can go in the back?

Seen 255s. I suspect that is about as far as you can go before you have to start doing more then some fender rolling.

What's after fender rolling? Pulling?

if you feel the inside of your fender edge you'll notice there is a lip where the metal folds in towards the car. fender rolling is where you take that lip and finish folding it to give your tires and additional 1/4" to 1" of clearance (depending on the car). It allows you to bring the tires all the way out to the edges of the car; so you don't have that inset wheel look.

Pulling, is just what it sounds like. When fender rolling does not provide enough clearance, you need to pull the fender out a bit. Some people might call this "flaring", but it's more subtle than that. When done right, you can't tell that anything was done to make the fenders wider and provide more tire clreanance.

I run 265's front and back with only a roll in the rear; but a 255 is probably best for 9 out of 10 set-ups.

okay here is the deal I want the largest wheel in the back with fenders rolled not flared. I was wondering if something like a 10.5+60(70,80,90,100+) would work

I'm pretty sure that with that width and offset it'll be rubbing the inner suspension components...

Go check the 08 lancer show and shine section. There's a guy running 10's and another running 10.5's with minimal fender work. Granted they are both running 215 or 225 tires and look like they belong on vwvortex site rather than here...
