I like the sound of it too. My brakes are almost done. Not sure if I can pass inspection next month :-(. Will give me a reason to buy the kit

Eric, you are a bastard.

But, srs, the kit looks awesome. If I still had my car I'd be looking forward to rockin' dem brakes. Great work man. To anyone on the fence about this kit; just do it. It has come a very, very, long way and has gone through a whole helluva lot of R&D. It would be a fantastic investment/modification to your RA.

The Powerslots are not Evolution X sized.

Here is where we stand with the rear:

The RA and Evolution X rear hubs are IDENTICAL (as far as we know). That means that the Evolution X rear setup (lines, calipers, and everything) should bolt right on. To verify this, I put a potential Evolution X rear BBK on a RA, and the measurements were the same (dead nuts on). The next step is to actually bolt a setup on. The completion of that will likely happen this weekend. I am not personally doing it, so I have no control over whether or not it will get done in time. Either way, the Evolution X rear is the answer (95% sure). That will work with BOTH the Z06 kit and this one (the balance is perfect). If the Evolution X rear fits, you can buy this front kit and legitimately have a FULL Brembo upgrade for your car. No wonky rotors, no brackets, nothing.

Now, here is the problem: even direct from Mitsubishi, the cost of the rear brand new is $2,500. If you guys want to TRY to set up a Group Buy or something from Fred Beans or South Coast, we can do that. The lucky ones will get used rear Brembos, but they are hard to find. I have Red Brembo powdercoat, so the front can be made to match a used or new rear. It is your choice.

The next thing that we will be releasing is a 6-piston Evolution X front upgrade. It will mirror the kit that comes with the FQ400 (Brembo this time, though, not Alcon). Interestingly, the Z06 front and Evolution X rear are pretty damn close to the FQ400 setup. I mean, they are shockingly close.

He meant smaller. They are 13.5" in diameter. The hope was that they would work with 17" wheels. The jury is still out on that one. They should work with Evo 8/9 stockers.
