So the time has come for me to get my new setup for the summer. I got my rims which are 18x9.5 +38. My questions are

-can I get a 255/40/18 with rolling/pulling??? I really hate stretching tires. I can live with 255 or 245 on a 9.5 though

-do I need any camber arms or bolt??. I want to try and keep the camber close to stock as possible so I'm not going through tires. I read somewhere I should get around -2 in the front and around -1 in the rear.

-I heard I need spacers for the rear to get to +35 or less to clear the strut tower so anyone k have a link to some good 3mm spacers?

-am I crazy for trying to run this setup????? Lol

Before anyone tells me to search. I have checked multiple stickies and threads. Couldn't find the right answers.

I'm also dropped on adjustable d2 coilovers btw

They don't mention anything about camber arms or bolts or spacers

 

Here is exactly what you need to read. Took 10 seconds to google. Youll need a roll and pull w/ spacers. Youre gonna have to run stretched tires otherwise GOOD LUCK!

Well with him pulling he said he had some room left so I think I can get away with a 245 tire then

 

Honestly I wouldnt suggest it. If you dont pull your fenders out as much as he did you will run into issues. Size difference between the 225 and 245 isnt gonna be noticeable to the naked eye, but if you feel like you need to run wider tires good luck to you. Youre already running a pretty wide wheel so if you plan to go quite low on those coilovers its gonna be rough.
Everybody Ive seen with a Lancer or Ralliart running coils and wide wheels is running between 205s-225s. Why not just skip pulling your fenders and run a smaller tire. You'll save money as well doing so.

 

Stretched tires is not recommended for the track. Especially if I'm trying to take corners. And stretching a 205-225 tire on a 9.5 rim is not my cup of tea
