i've put some AMS parts in my Ralliart and was looking to upgrade to BOV or recirculating valve to something more stable. does anyone know of any that don't make noise. to me that's rice territory if it's not necessary and i'm not lowering my Ralliart to the level of all the civics around here.

Stable? The stocker is fine or you can use the BPV from the Evo.

So after reading this thread, from what I can understand (minus all that BAMF ****), there's no need to touch the plastic stock Ralliart BPV unless doing a major upgrade of turbo and intake?

And to clairfy, the BOV offered on the AMS website is the EVO stock? Which means switching to a BOV from a BPV which recycles the air will actually cause a very small 1-5hp loss?

With a new boost pill, can the stock Ralliart BPV can handle the higher psi?

What is the psi rating for the plastic bpv in the ralliart?

negative. There's no need to get anything "better" than a Evo IX or Evo X BPV for our car. The thing you get most from after market BPV/BOV is bragging rights, assuming your still on stock or on an EvoX turbo.

The OEM BPV for the Ralliart is plastic and leaks. The OEM BPV from a Evo IX and Evo X is metal and is better at holding pressure.

Ah ok, I don't give a flat **** about 'bragging rights' for an aftermarket piece when an OEM Evo BPV works just fine. Thanks for the clarification.

This kit includes one Evo X stock BPV. I still cannot believe that they have the audacity to try and market this ****. What a rip off!

This is not quite true. All BPV's are not created equal in terms of technology, build quality, etc. It is true that the Evo X BPV is right for most people.
