Injen CAI set to be released

Apparently Injen is releasing their intake for the Ralliart on May 28th. From the small picture on their website, it looks to be a true CAI, not a SRI.

Also, posted this on the official RA mod list thread.

All those people who said it couldnt be done.

Its almost like if its posted anywhere on EVOM that it cant happen, it most certainly will.

300WHP - check
CAI - Check
upgraded clutch packs - you bet your azz its coming.

Mitsubishi can't POSSIBLY release a better 2010 Ralliart with more power, wider tires, and launch control.

(Your theory better be correct, my friend!)

wow they claim 20hp and 17tq thats gotta be with a tune, but still pretty good gains. i wish i wouldve known when they were looking for a prototype car i wouldve loved a free intake lol do you guys think they would have to tune the car if they are testing an intake on your RA?

I saw the advertisment for a test car in the California Craigslist, I was thinking about doing it but was leaving in less than a week after seeing the ad.

I am definitely going to buy the AEM CAI vs another aftermarket CAI or intake.

Who said those weren't possible? The upgraded clutch packs are still in development so I wouldn't count those yet. 300 WHP is achievable, it just depends on what dyno you use and the mods you have. I'm surprised it took this long for a CAI to come out though, I figured AEM, Injen, K&N, etc. would have jumped on it fast.
Anyways, be warned, Injen seems to always post very high gains for their intakes. I think for the GTS they claim something like a 10 WHP gain which is ridiculous. I suspect that what is happening is the intake is making the car run a bit lean thereby making power. However, lean can be bad and if the car detects it, it could actually hurt power in the long run.

If I'm not mistaken, I think AMS stated a CAI wasn't possible without a mini-battery or relocation.

very true... I'll be waiting for a dyno sheet or some hard evidence of those gains before I drop money.
