I don't care how reputable a company is. If they can't hire a copywriter who can translate Japanese ad copy to English (not Engrish), they look unprofessional. I realize that most Americans can't write well either, but most Americans are not paid to do so. My only hope is that a representative from Blitz reads this and feels shamed into hiring a better copywriter/translator.

This is the same garbage as the ****ing Sprint Booster which openly admits it does nothing for performance.

Are you serious high 10's+ normally? @110km/h???
If I hit cruise @110 km/h for 50km (thats the highway portion of my commute everyday) I'm in low 8's I have a low of 8.1L/100km (I took a pic on my iphone) problem is I never travel that slow, I'm in 10.0-10.5L/100km @130-140km/h. I can't see how that can improve your fuel economy (at least anything significant, say .2L/100km or more) when you're on cruise with the device and without. All it does is control throttle sensitivity basically, doesn't it?

On the way home had it set on SP1 and fuel consumption was showing at 9.8L/100km. Had the Cruise control set both times at 110km/h. Different sort of test but next time I head to the servo I'll be using SP2 and SP3.

If you cant read it then OH EFFEN WELL. This item is an import which means it comes from an other country. And it may be hard for u to beleve, but there are a few other countrys out there that don't speak or write "engrish".

Sometimes it's the little things that count. If they don't take the time to translate their ad copy properly, can they be trusted to take the time to properly develop their parts? I really don't care if they come from a country where English is not the primary language. If I owned a company that conducted business overseas, I'd be damn sure that the ads run in other countries were correctly translated.

Well, I've really only been responding to people who quote me directly and seem to want to call me out for some reason. My comment started as a joke (albeit based on one of my pet peeves) that only one person seemed to get. I guess that not everyone shares my sense of humor. Maybe a dead-baby joke would be more to your liking, mate.

And as for getting back on topic, no one is getting back on topic until someone starts posting hard, empirical data that proves this device's worth in the real world.

Don't hold your breath, there's still no concrete proof that the Sprint Booster works but people swear by it.

I have at least a dozen mods that go on my to do list before this, even if it does work. I'm topping the list off with this:

do you really want to go back to wiping that dead horse you never tried to ride lol

Since Amby brought it up. I would recommend using the sprint booster. half our club has tried it and about 80 to 90% of everyone including myself thinks it works great to increase the responsiveness in throttle control. As amby said it has nothing to do with power train performance. it only modifies the single between your foot(throttle control) to the ECU throttle input data. Its great. But I will admit its very hard to explain to someone what the feeling is like.

Relating this to the post at hand. The blitz control is a good idea s well if you want a variable setup. But if you try the sprint booster I would go for it if you have a SST version since I have driven the SST EVO X as well as my lancer. And it feels great. (sprint booster I am refering too) The 5 speed is tuned completely different, instead of there being more sensitivity in the middle of the pedal for the Auto tranny, the lower end of the throttle becomes more sensitive for the manual trannny.

Something I am not sure the Blitz controller has.

Cheers

Here is a thread on the Sprint Booster, as you can see, it's the same person pushing it. You can decide for yourself whether it's right for you.

Both controllers are garbage. Spend your money on something else.
