Ack!!! Still haven't had the time (courage?) to do it. Got the bung welded, LC-1 bouncing around in the trunk, tactrix and bootspill collecting dust at home (for almost a year now) I need to find a place to do the install for me.... Anyone have any experience with 5150 in Costa Mesa?

hey where exactly did you get your bung welded on the down pipe(not the shop) how much did it cost and how long did it take. I went to an exhaust shop here and they tell me if they cut through the down pipe they will damage my existing sensor, so they would have to remove the down pipe, but its so expensive to go this way just for a stupid bung. cause right now i installed my gauge but i only need the bung welded and it looks like its not gonna happen

Find another shop, I think. Perhaps one that will consider removing the narrowband o2 sensor first, if they think they will damage it working nearby....

I just went to the exhaust shop over the road from my office (yes, a staggering amount of research went into that choice ), paid him $66, and he did it that same afternoon. He worked with the downpipe in place, used a plasma cutter for the hole, welded in the bung.

I went to a muffler shop around the corner. The guy looked at me odd as hesaid most people who put a wideband on just remove the cat and stock o2 sensor, but that he could do what I asked. He warned me that he would have to cut thruthe heat shroud. Here is a pic. The bung didn't come with a plug so I went to the pipe store to buy antiseize and bought a bolt to plug it with till I could finish. Good luck!

Not sure if it's been covered here yet. I just picked up a 2014 RA and was wanting to do this mod but it looks like there are only 09-2012 ROMS available? Will a 2012 work on a 2014?

Negative Sir on the 2014, they are still working on the 2013's and getting logs off of wide band equipped cars.

Grab a wide band air fuel ratio gauge and jump in, they need testers!!!
