Are you sure thats wise they reccomend the boost pill because of random surges you get with a.boost controller, unless youre planning on building up youre trans?

That's disappointing.

Does the 2013 seem close enough to the 2012 to use the stock pill maps on the track, or would it be safer to wait and get the WOT wideband data?

Just this weekend I got a P0137 during some enthusiastic driving (2013 w/ 93 octane map for stock pill, MR BOV, UR HFC & Cosworth air filter). This is the first time I have had a code in the 2+ months I have been using this map. Logs are clean and show no knocking issues. Has anyone else had this happen?

I disconnected the battery for a few mins, reconnected, CEL was gone and the car ran well. I will be checking all connections over the next couple of days to see if anything is a little off.

If it comes down to it Rich, I will take one for the team over the winter by getting an extra bung for my HFC along with a wideband sensor so you have some quality data.

Flashed 2009 usdm v31. Boostpill and tbe 93 oct. When coming to a stop i hit the gas when the light turns green and the car doesnt move... it hesitates to take off even on low to moderate throttle...i let off the gas, wait like a second or two hit the gas again and car moves. Only happens when car is completely stopped. Any ideas?

Hi

I have a question about the AEM intake that goes with this Map.

I know there are several different intakes.
It says ONLY AEM Intake.

Well i got myself an intake it is AEM it's the one that comes with the box to enclose it.
Is this teh correct one?

I am doing a TBE and I have the pill so just need to know if this is the right Intake and i am golden

Thanks

Nothing wrong with using an upgraded electronic boost control solenoid, like the Grimmspeed, it's when you try hooking up a manual controller to an SST equipped car that issues start to pop up.

That's an O2 code that usually comes from the sensor reading too little from the exhaust (or a less-common short to ground/faulty sensor). I'd chalk it up to the revised map along with the UR hfc that already places your sensor out away from the exhaust flow. With the amount of aggressive driving, the car was probably expecting to see more than it actually was because of O2 placement.

Does that sound about right Rich?

Ok, quick and easy question. Where do I buy this magical boost pill and how do I install the corisponding map to my ECM? I'm brand new and theres a literal ton of info to sort through here. Thanks guys.

Thanks for confirming that the GST basemap plus 02 sensor spacer in the hfc may have contributed to code. That thought had crossed my mind, but I wasn't sure how much leaner the basemap may be vs stock map.

The good news is after nearly 200km of driving since the clearing the code, it has not come back and I couldn't find anything physically wrong with the 02 sensor itself.

Is there any danger of the car going into limp mode from P0137?

I am just wondering something.

I see there are lots of maps and that is awesome!!!

I am just wondering why there is no map for AEM+pill upgrade?

Is it that it does not produce enough change to be worth it?

If I have the Pill upgrade and the AEM can I use just the pill upgrade file?
or do i need a full tune to be able to use the pill+aem?

Thanks a lot again!

In that case, the only thing I can suggest is that you revert to factory tune... and keep a very close eye on it.

SSTs like to have their fluid+filter changed more frequently than the ludicrously long intervals in the manual. Personally, I stick with Mitsubishi original fluid (Dia-Queen SST Fluid).

The reason is, quite simply, that these are the tunes Razorlab put together. I'm not a pro tuner by trade - I've worked on various aspects of these maps (boost control, SST tables, standardisation, porting,....) but have left the Tuning side of things unchanged.

Note that these are BASE maps. You are welcome to take them, learn how they work, and revise them to suit your own particular tuning specifics. Or find a pro who will do it for you, if you're not game to tackle the learning curve (and risks).

I was just wondering if there was a specific reason why there was no AEM+pill tune that's all.
I would think that is the most common one people would want. AEM and pill are pretty cheap. not everyone can afford a TBE :P

No offence meant was just wondering
